A Senior Sales and Service Engineer will be responsible for driving sales, providing technical support, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, sales acumen, and customer relationship management skills. This role also requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and excellent customer service to ensure optimal functionality and reliability of medical devices in healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed sales targets for medical products and equipment.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including physicians, surgeons, nurses, and administrators.
- Install, calibrate, and maintain medical equipment, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and regulatory standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, providing efficient and effective repair solutions.
- Perform preventive maintenance and safety checks to minimize downtime and ensure the safety of medical equipment.
- Provide technical support and training to healthcare staff on the proper use and maintenance of medical devices.
- Document all sales and service activities, including maintenance records, repairs, and parts used, in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with the sales team to support customer needs and provide technical expertise during product demonstrations and installations.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in medical technology and continuously improve technical skills through training and development programs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Having at least five years of experience in servicing medical equipment, particularly within healthcare sectors such as Radiology, Neurology, or Cardiology, is essential.
- Strong technical knowledge of medical devices, including diagnostic and therapeutic equipment.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with healthcare professionals and team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel to various customer sites as required.
