Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Provide support in different projects of the company
Prepare project proposals
Experienced and apt in quantitative data analysis (A MUST)
Monitoring and supervision of the project activities in coordination with other members
Coordination with field level project staff and field planning for the team
Conduct desk review, literature review and other backend study as required
Conduct data collection through field visit for projects as required. Should be comfortable traveling to remote areas and settling in communities, if required. Furthermore, should be comfortable walking for few hours everyday during field work, if required.
Prepare/support in qualitative and quantitative instruments, survey, questionnaire, etc.
Provide training or provide support to facilitators
Clean, consolidate and prepare the dataset for quantitative data analysis and help in coding for qualitative data
Prepare report, field notes, or summary of projects (should have previous experience in report writing for projects)

Skills/Requirements:

Excellent report writing in English (An absolute MUST with previous experience) and oral communication skills in Nepali and English
Minimum Master’s Degree in Development Studies, Anthropology, Sociology, Statistics or similar that is relevant in the development sector
Atleast 2-3 years of experience specifically in the field of M&E, data analysis and/or social research or social sector
Experienced in data collection methods like survey, interviews, and field discussions
Strong analytical skills and experience in conducting literature reviews
Good understanding of statistical data analysis packages – SPSS, STATA, R or similar
Digital data collection experience will be an added bonus skills
Should be comfortable to travel to rural areas of Nepal with basic amenities
Must be able to walk for hours in difficult terrains during field work, if required
Able to multi-task handling different projects and work at the same time
Able to work efficiently within the stipulated deadline in a fast paced environment
Other as assigned by Research Department or management

Working Hours: 9 AM – 5 PM (6 days a week)
