About the job

SMTECH TECHNOLOGY is seeking an experienced Senior React Developer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performance, scalable web applications using React and other modern JavaScript Technologies.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable user interfaces using React and related libraries/frameworks (Redux, React Router, etc.)
Optimize the performance of React components and applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers
Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the React ecosystem
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to the team
Mentor junior developers and promote best practices

Requirements:

4+ years of experience in web development, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with React
Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS, and modern web development practices
Experience with state management libraries like Redux .
Familiarity with build tools such as Webpack, Babel, and package managers (npm/yarn)
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience with data fetching libraries (e.g., Axios, RTK,TranStack Query)
Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong Knowledge of web application architecture and design principles, such as microservices and event driven architecture.
Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest and Enzyme.
Knowledge of server-side rendering (SSR) and progressive web apps (PWAs)
Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes
Understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns
