SMTECH TECHNOLOGY is seeking an experienced Senior React Developer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performance, scalable web applications using React and other modern JavaScript Technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable user interfaces using React and related libraries/frameworks (Redux, React Router, etc.)
• Optimize the performance of React components and applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the React ecosystem
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to the team
• Mentor junior developers and promote best practices

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in web development, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with React
• Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS, and modern web development practices
• Experience with state management libraries like Redux .
• Familiarity with build tools such as Webpack, Babel, and package managers (npm/yarn)
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience with data fetching libraries (e.g., Axios, RTK,TranStack Query)
• Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong Knowledge of web application architecture and design principles, such as microservices and event driven architecture.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest and Enzyme.
• Knowledge of server-side rendering (SSR) and progressive web apps (PWAs)
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes
• Understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns
