We are looking for a Mid Software QA Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible to enhance technical skills and be able to provide guidance and direction to help make critical technical and project related decisions. You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Involve in requirement gathering, test planning, defining the testing methodology and test estimation.
• Work closely with a team to ensure on time, and quality delivery
• Develop comprehensive, and well-structured documentations from planning to project completion
• Perform extensive design, functionality, integration, regression, and end-to-end system test
• Define test objectives and collaborate with the team to achieve project goals
• Collaborate with the QA team in introducing best practices for testing and adopt automation tools and techniques
• Troubleshoot quality issues and identify opportunities for improvements
• Cultivate, support, and promote a culture that provides for high performance, high morale, integrity, and teamwork
• Contribute to internal and cross-team discussions and decisions

What are we looking for:

• 2+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer
• Hands on experience with various testing like design, integration, API, compatibility, sanity, regression, performance
• Experience writing test plans, test cases and feature-level documentation
• Knowledge of Agile development methodology
• Experience with bug tracking and reporting tools e.g. Jira
• Thorough understanding of QA methodology and best practices
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skill
• Keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to work under firm deadlines and within a rapidly changing environment
• Exceptionally good team player who can work independently as well with minimal supervision
• Working knowledge of any automation framework is a bonus
