Job Description

  • Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies for Janaki Polychem.
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve the effectiveness.
  • Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
  • Partner with reliable vendors and suppliers to secure the most advantageous terms.
  • Control the purchasing budget and promote a culture of long-term savings on procurement costs.
  • Review and process purchase orders and requisitions.
  • Maintain and update procurement records, such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories.
  • Analyze market and delivery systems to assess present and future material availability.
  • Ensure that all procurement activities are in compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Conduct regular supplier evaluations to monitor and report on supplier performance.
  • Work closely with the finance team to manage payment terms and schedules.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new products to improve procurement processes.
