Job Description

Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies for Janaki Polychem.
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve the effectiveness.
Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
Partner with reliable vendors and suppliers to secure the most advantageous terms.
Control the purchasing budget and promote a culture of long-term savings on procurement costs.
Review and process purchase orders and requisitions.
Maintain and update procurement records, such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories.
Analyze market and delivery systems to assess present and future material availability.
Ensure that all procurement activities are in compliance with company policies and standards.
Conduct regular supplier evaluations to monitor and report on supplier performance.
Work closely with the finance team to manage payment terms and schedules.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new products to improve procurement processes.
