Job Description

The Senior Procurement Officer is responsible for the efficient management and coordination of all procurement (Supplies & Services).

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Consumable, Surgical & Equipment procurement
  • Enlisting Vendors for Smooth Procurement
  • Rate Negotiating
  • Quality Confirmation on Purchase
  • Establishing Proper Vendor Relation
  • Updating Procurement Record System
  • Coordination with other departments for effective procurement system & quality assurance
  • Establishing relationship with vendors/suppliers
  • Estimation of cost parameters & budget plan for purchases
  • Systematic documentation
  • Review & analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply & price options
  • Negotiation for best price deal
  • Evaluation & ensuring the Product quality 
  • Planning for the future & current hospital goods requirements
  • Conduct market survey
  • Coordination with all the hospital departments & ensure uninterrupted supply of goods and services
  • Compile periodic reports for the management

Skills

  • Enthusiasm and a desire to make a positive impact as a team player
  • Demonstrated skills in databases management and use for monitoring of procurement, inventory, and forecast needs
  • Sound knowledge in financial procedures
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office especially in Excel spreadsheets and software packages
  • In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills capable of building strong working relationships and influencing customers and internal team

Education & Experience

  • Minimum 3 Years of experience in similar field.
  • Bachelor’s degree/ Master’s degree in management field.
