Job Specification

Education Level : Graduate (Masters)
Experience Required : More than or equal to 2 years
Other Specification
  • ACCA/ CA/ CPA/ MBA qualified accountant with minimum 2 years’ experience in practice
  • Strong knowledge of accounting systems, UK tax laws and accounting standards applicable to small and medium-sized business
  • Experience within an accountancy practice
  • Able to work on multiple projects, in a fast paced environment and work effectively to deadlines and time-scales
  • Previously been responsible for managing a portfolio of clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to both clients and colleagues

Desirable Requirements

  • Have basic knowledge of IRIS, Xero, Sage & QuickBooks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, with excellent Excel spreadsheet skill
  • Experience of working with companies in UK

Job Description

  • Preparing statutory annual accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies as well as corporation tax computations
  • Planning and completing audit and accounting assignments to a high standard of technical competence and within time/budget constraints
  • Assisting the portfolio manager & partner to achieve deadlines
  • Regular Dealing with UK clients for all queries
  • To undertake smaller and medium sized assignments independently or assist in larger assignments reporting to a Manager or Senior Manager
  • Preparation of management reporting and analysis, and quarterly VAT returns for your portfolio
  • Reviewing and completion of all work prior to partner review
  • Maintaining technical competence
