General Description:

An expert with extensive experience in designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable server-side applications. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our applications are scalable, robust, and deliver a seamless user experience.

Key Functions 

Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the user interface of our web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, backend developers, and product managers, to create high-quality, user-friendly, and performant web applications.

Major Duties & Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain web applications using the Laravel framework.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and translate project requirements into technical solutions.
• Design and implement efficient, scalable, and secure code for web applications.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in web applications and provide timely resolutions.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in PHP and Laravel development and suggest improvements to enhance application performance and usability.
• Maintain documentation of code and project tasks and contribute to technical specifications.
• Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Perform requirement analysis including breakdown and estimation
• Convey understandings to team members

Skills Requirements: 

• Strong knowledge and experience in PHP web development.
• Proficient in Laravel framework and its ecosystem.
• Solid understanding of Payment Gateways like – Stripe, PayPal, Coinbase, Coin gate, Google Pay
• Experience and solid understanding of RDBMS like MySQL and query optimization
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
• Experience and Solid understanding of ORM (Object Relational Mapping) frameworks like Eloquent.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as react or angular will be beneficial.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git (Gitlab).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
