Job description

Account -Senior Officer

The position shall be responsible for creating systems and processes for analyzing, writing, and following legal requirements and recommending improvements to business procedures. The duties and responsibilities of the proposed position is as under:

Duties and responsibilities:

Monitor and update daily cash and bank transaction by obtaining bank statement, bank reconciliation and
Review daily entries, check for accuracy & compliance with laws and regulation.
Coordinate with other department i.e. purchase department, finance department, information technology department and store department as per necessary.
Handle queries of staffs, sales agents, customers and vendors related to accounts.
Regularly update audit file and take custody of other important documents like cancelled cheque, agreement with parties, legal documents etc.
Review bounce cheques, contact with parties and take necessary legal action as and when required.
Prepare and upload monthly VAT and TDS Return.
Update monthly payroll detail in books of accounts.
Obtain ledgers from parties, reconcile parties and obtain balance confirmation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.

Educational Qualification:

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource, Business administration or a related field. Master’s degree (or Semi Qualified CA from recognized institute plus bachelor degree) with at least 3 years of experience.

The salary and perks shall not be constraint for the right candidate based on his/her expertise on the required subject. The canidate must havde driving license and two wheeler of their own.
