Job Title: NodeJS Developer

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a NodeJS developer.
• Personal Attributes: Inquisitive, determined, diligent, and open-minded. Logical, tactful, a problem-solver, and a self-learner with a zeal for learning and career growth.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

• Solution Design Understanding: Study and understand solution design documents provided by the Engineering Manager to ensure consistent understanding of project requirements.
• Code Development: Write code to develop the project as per technical requirements.
• Technical Solutions/Feedback: Provide technical solutions and feedback to the Engineering Manager and other team members during the project development process.
• Unit Testing: Perform unit testing of each completed task to ensure it meets technical requirements.
• Sprint and Version Planning: Strictly follow the Engineering Manager’s sprint and version planning.
• Risk Minimization: Provide timely information and solutions/feedback to the Engineering Manager to minimize risks and control deviation in the project timeline.
• Project Status Support: Support the Engineering Manager to assess the real-time status of project development.
• Professional Development: Work closely with the Engineering Manager to prepare your professional development plan and diligently fulfill planned learning activities.

The Impact Zone: Your Key Responsibilities:

• Web Application Development: Demonstrated experience in developing Web Applications.
• JavaScript Expertise: Strong knowledge of JavaScript.
• Web Development Frameworks: Experience in web application development using VueJs/ReactJs.
• Application Design: Ability to design applications as per requirements.
• Optimized Code Writing: Ability to write optimized code and guide team members to do the same.
• API Development: Sound knowledge in developing restful APIs and designing APIs.
• Best Practices: Sound knowledge of best practices and architectural patterns for developing Web applications.
• Schema Design: Sound knowledge in schema design.
• Optimized Queries: Ability to write optimized queries.
• SQL and NoSQL Knowledge: Strong knowledge of SQL and No-SQL.
• Version Control: Proficient in understanding code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Design Patterns: Should have sound knowledge of design patterns.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Should have strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• MongoDB Expertise: Should have sound knowledge of MongoDB schema design and query.

Beyond the Basics: Desired Strengths and Competencies:

• MERN Stack Experience: Experience in developing applications using the MERN stack.
• NestJS Framework: Experience with the NestJS framework.
• Test Driven Development: Well-familiar with Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Platform Optimization: Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform.
• CI/CD Pipeline: Proficient in understanding CI/CD pipeline.
• AWS Services: Should have knowledge of AWS services.
• Security Awareness: Well-familiar with security threats, handling, and their resolution.
• Coding Standards: Experience in developing web applications using coding standards.
