Job Description

The Senior HR Officer of New Business Age (P) Ltd.(NBA)is responsible to develop, adapt and successfully manage all HR-related processes. Acts as a first point of contact for managers and employees in all HR-related matters Manages, trains, coaches and motivates assigned officers. Supports and counsels department managers in all HR related matters.

The Senior HR Officer is an active member of the Management Team and fosters close cooperation with all department heads and department employees of NBA.

Specific responsibilities and traits:

  • Effectively liaise between senior management and employees to maintain and improve company-employee relations
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new company hires
  • Administer payroll, company benefits packages, corporate events, team-building meetings, and outings
  • Prepare Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and ensure review cycles are executed as per plan
  •  Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and make necessary changes to policies and procedures
  • Conduct training needs analysis and arrange career and employee development programs
  • Manage the performance management process for NBA and enable and coach managers to conduct meaningful performance assessments
  • Conduct Human Resource Policy assessment and revise if necessary
  • Manage employee resignations and terminations
  • Counsel managers and employees to improve employee satisfaction and minimize employee attrition rate
  • Ensure compliance with statutory provisions concerning people practices and processes

Key performance measures:

  • Present suitable hiring candidates to department managers and professionally manage the hiring and recruiting process
  • Ensure successful integration of new employees in departments and in NBA
  • Standardized job descriptions in place for all permanent managers and employees
  • Annual performance appraisals scheduled and completed by managers for all employees: objectives-review, performance review, formal employee feedback
  • Resolution of cases of employee dissatisfaction and resolution of conflicts between employees and people managers (act as a moderator)
  • Role model for all employees in terms of professionalism, integrity, credibility and commitment to NBA’s mission
  • Uphold high professional standards and ethics
