About the job
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to lead our frontend engineering efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications, ensuring optimal performance and user experience. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive the frontend architecture and standards across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Frontend Architecture: Design and implement scalable and maintainable frontend architectures that align with our business goals.
Development: Build responsive, high-performance web applications using modern frontend technologies (e.g., React, Next.js).
Code Quality: Ensure code quality through best practices, code reviews, and testing methodologies.
Collaboration: Work closely with backend developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize application performance, addressing any issues that arise.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team.
Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of frontend processes, architecture, and codebase.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in frontend development.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, next.js).
Tools & Technologies: Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel)
Responsive Design: Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
API Integration: Experience in integrating RESTful APIs and working with backend services.
Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
