We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Finance Manager to join our leading real estate and construction group. The ideal candidate will possess strong personal relationships with banks, expertise in building and influencing relationships with new investors, and a proven track record in expediting loan processes and fundraising from external markets. Additionally, the candidate will have a solid understanding of secondary market guidance. This critical role will work closely with senior leadership to manage financial strategies and operations, ensuring the financial stability and growth of our projects.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in finance, with a strong focus on banking relations, investor relations, loan processing, fundraising, and secondary market guidance.
  • Proven track record of managing financial operations and securing funding in the real estate or construction industry.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in financial management software and tools.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of banking products and services.
  • Expertise in relationship management with investors and financial institutions.
  • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and financial management software.
  • Solid understanding of secondary market operations and strategies.

Job Description

1. Banking Relations:

  • Develop and maintain robust personal relationships with key banking partners and financial institutions.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and conditions for credit facilities and other financial services.
  • Oversee and manage banking activities to ensure alignment with financial policies and regulatory compliance.

2. Investor Relations:

  • Build and nurture relationships with new investors, including venture capitalists, personal investors, and other investment profiles.
  •  Develop strategies to attract and secure new investment opportunities.
  •  Represent the company in investor meetings, presentations, and negotiations to build trust and confidence.

3. Loan and Documentation Management:

  • Expedite the loan application and approval process by ensuring timely and accurate preparation of required documentation.
  •  Liaise with banks and financial institutions to accelerate loan approvals and disbursements.
  •  Manage all documentation related to fundraising activities, ensuring compliance and efficiency.

4. Fundraising Expertise:

  • Lead fundraising efforts from external markets to support ongoing and future projects.
  • Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to attract and secure funding from diverse sources.
  • Prepare and present compelling financial proposals to potential investors and funding sources.
  • Provide expertise and guidance on secondary market transactions and strategies.
  • Analyse and interpret secondary market trends to inform financial decisions and strategies.
  • Develop and implement plans to leverage secondary market opportunities for financial growth.
