Job Description

Role Overview:

As a Senior Admission Counselor/Vertical Head at Mentor Lab Education, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth trajectory by spearheading admissions efforts and leading a dynamic team towards unparalleled success. Your responsibilities will include harnessing your proven sales prowess, adept team management skills, and a relentless pursuit of targets, both at a team and individual level. Your ability to navigate through country-wise documentation processes will be critical in ensuring seamless operations across diverse regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive admissions and revenue growth in alignment with company objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of admission counselors to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement within the admissions team.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operations teams to optimize lead generation and conversion strategies.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with partner institutions and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with country-wise documentation requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Provide regular performance feedback, coaching, and professional development opportunities to team members.


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in admissions, sales, or related roles within the education or EdTech industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with a strong understanding of sales methodologies and techniques.
  • Experience in team management, including setting targets, performance evaluation, and coaching.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with country-wise documentation processes and regulatory requirements is a plus.
  • Candidates with experience working with EdTech platforms or similar industry backgrounds will be given preference.
