Education Level	:	Under Graduate (Bachelor)
Experience Required	:	More than 7 years

Other Specification

A formal engineering qualification (Bachelor’s Degree, Masters) – Civil Structural
IELTS B1 / B2 English language written & spoken.
7+ years’ experience with a contractor or Engineering consultancy.
Experience of working on site and some knowledge of UK codes are both desirable.
Expert in the Layout, General Arrangement and detail of Concrete structures.
Good ability with engineering calculations and design reports.
Some knowledge of M365 and SharePoint is desirable.
Able to work within a dynamic environment with good attention to detail.
Able to work to tight deadlines and self-manage priorities against multiple tasks.

Job Description

Specialist in structural analysis and specifically with hydropower and water retaining structures
Overview and detailed calculation of structures using Excel and industry standard software
Proficient in CAD Engineering - AutoCAD
Outline and detailed design recognising the civil, electrical and mechanical interfaces.
Liaison between project managers and site staff/contractors.
Know the sequence of jobs (in the office) and pre-empt the need for information/client input
Work as part of a team to suggest improvements which will benefit our clients.

Shift Work

The post will may require to undertake some shift work (early or late)
Weekend work will be required from time to time
Overtime will be paid where appropriate
