Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are hiring a hands-on Senior Chemical Engineer – Refinery Operations to own and optimize acid-based metal extraction processes in a high-risk, industrial refinery environment. This role requires plant-floor execution, not theory.

What You’ll Do

Design and run hydrometallurgical processes for metal extraction from e-waste and minerals
Handle and control HCl, HNO₃, H₂SO₄, aqua regia, HF (controlled use), and NaOH
Execute selective removal of base metals while protecting valuable metals
Optimize pH, temperature, reaction time, and solid–liquid separation
Troubleshoot yield losses, passivation, hard residues, and contamination
Manage acid reuse, neutralization, and effluent treatment
Write SOPs and train operators with strict safety discipline

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 5 years

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) / Master of Engineering (M.E.) in Chemical Engineering
5+ years of real plant or refinery experience
Proven hands-on work with strong acids and hazardous chemistry
Strong process logic, mass-balance thinking, and safety mindset

Not This Role If

You prefer lab-only or desk-only work
You are uncomfortable with aggressive acids or plant responsibility
