Electrical Design Engineer – Solar

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Design Engineer – Solar to join our growing renewable energy team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and optimizing solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with project and engineering teams to deliver high-quality renewable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review solar PV system designs for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
• Develop detailed engineering drawings, layouts, Single-Line Diagrams (SLDs), and technical documentation.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for solar installations.
• Perform system sizing, energy yield analysis, and optimization of solar PV systems.
• Coordinate with project, procurement, and installation teams to ensure design accuracy and project compliance.
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
• Support technical proposal preparation, bid documentation, and project reports.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues during project implementation.
• Review project specifications and recommend efficient and cost-effective design solutions.
• Maintain accurate design records and project documentation.
