Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Development Manager with strong expertise in banking, import–export operations, and PPMO-related procurement systems. The ideal candidate will be strategic, detail-oriented, legally sound, and capable of handling national and international business correspondence independently.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and execute business development strategies aligned with company goals
Handle banking operations, trade finance, LC, documentation, and compliance
Manage and oversee import & export processes, coordination with suppliers, banks, customs, and logistics partners
Conduct cost analysis, pricing evaluation, and financial feasibility assessments
Prepare, analyze, and manage data using advanced Microsoft Excel (financial models, MIS, reports, analysis)
Independently manage PPMO-related works, including:
- Tender documentation
- Procurement procedures
- Compliance with all PPMO bylaws, legal provisions, and norms
Draft and manage official correspondence with national and international companies, institutions, and authorities
Coordinate with internal departments for commercial, legal, and financial matters
Identify new business opportunities and maintain strong professional relationships
Ensure all activities comply with legal, regulatory, and statutory requirements

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than 8 years

Other Specification

MBA (Finance, International Business, or related field preferred)
Minimum 8–10 years of relevant work experience in business development, banking, import–export, or procurement
Strong understanding of cost analysis and accounting principles
Expert-level proficiency in Advanced Microsoft Excel
Strong expertise in banking sector and import–export operations
Expert knowledge of PPMO, including:
- Procurement Act
- Rules, by laws, and legal frameworks
Fluency in Nepali and English (spoken and written)
Excellent skills in professional correspondence with national and international entities
Valid driving license with ability to operate a two-wheeler
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
