Roles and responsibilities of this job
We are hiring a Senior Automation Engineer to build and manage end-to-end automation systems for service businesses. You will turn audit insights into working solutions like AI voice agents, SMS workflows, CRM automations, and reporting systems.
Key Responsibilities
Build end-to-end automations in Make.com and GoHighLevel for new clients.
Deploy AI voice agents for missed calls and lead qualification.
Create Twilio SMS workflows (reminders, follow-ups, reviews, reactivation).
Integrate CRMs and tools via APIs and webhooks.
Convert audit findings into structured, executable build plans.
Monitor, maintain, and improve live client systems post-launch.
Document and templatize all builds for scalability.
Collaborate with audit team to validate technical feasibility.
Job Specification
Required qualifications for this job
Other Specification
Expert in Make.com (preferred) or Zapier, including advanced multi-step scenarios, error handling, and custom code.
Strong GoHighLevel experience (workflows, triggers, snapshots, APIs, and automation).
Proficient with Twilio SMS automation and 10DLC compliance basics.
Strong API and webhook skills (JSON, OAuth, debugging integrations).
Hands-on experience with at least one voice AI platform (Vapi, Retell, Synthflow, or Bland).
3+ years in automation or integration engineering roles (preferably US/UK clients).
Near-native written English for documentation and client communication.
Familiarity with JavaScript, Python, or n8n is a plus.
Experience with AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) or RAG systems is a plus.
Background working with service-based businesses (home services, real estate, medspas) is a plus.
