Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Senior Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, planning and overseeing the construction of buildings and interiors while ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role requires a blend of creative innovation, technical expertise and strong project management abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conceptual Design:

Develop creative and innovative architectural concepts.
Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements.
Create preliminary sketches and renderings to illustrate design ideas.

2. Detailed Planning:

Produce comprehensive architectural drawings and specifications.
Ensure designs comply with building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards.
Work closely with structural engineers, MEP consultants, and other specialists to meet project requirements.
Implement sustainable design principles and energy-efficient solutions.

3. Project Management:

Oversee the architectural project lifecycle from inception to completion.
Coordinate with construction teams, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Address challenges, risk mitigation, and value engineering as needed.
Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for project viability.

4. Client Interaction:

Communicate effectively with clients to understand their goals and preferences.
Present design proposals, including 3D visualizations and BIM models, for client approval.
Provide regular updates on project progress and address client concerns.

5. Site Visits:

Conduct site visits to assess and monitor construction progress.
Ensure construction aligns with approved architectural plans and specifications.
Address any on-site discrepancies, coordinate with project managers, and ensure quality control.

6. Technology Integration:

Utilize advanced architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, D5 and Lumion for design and drafting.
Implement BIM methodologies for enhanced collaboration and efficiency.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in architectural and interior design.

7. Interior Design:

Develop and implement interior design concepts based on client needs.
Select and source materials, finishes, furniture and accessories.
Create 3D visualizations, mood boards and detailed material specifications.
Ensure seamless integration of interior and architectural design elements.
Collaborate with lighting designers, acousticians and landscape architects for holistic design solutions.
