Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to lead our financial operations. This role involves managing all core accounting functions, ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements, and supporting strategic financial planning for domestic and international operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, A/R, A/P, bank reconciliations, and payroll.
Ensure compliance with all Nepalese tax laws, VAT filing, customs duties, and export finance procedures.
Manage internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting standards (NFRS or IFRS as applicable).
Perform cost analysis of production processes including raw material usage, labor, and overheads.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial strategy development.
Coordinate and communicate with external auditors, banks, and government authorities.
Train and supervise junior accounting staff.
Support management in pricing strategies, international invoicing, and foreign currency transactions.
