Job Description

Nidan Hospital Limited is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee the financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and receipts.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Monitor budgets and expenses to ensure alignment with hospital financial goals.
  • Assist in financial planning, forecasting, and strategy development.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements, including VAT, TDS, and income tax filings.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during audits and address any discrepancies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and hospital-specific financial regulations.
  • Supervise payroll processing, including salary disbursement, tax deductions, and employee benefits.
  • Handle staff reimbursements and other financial claims.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard hospital assets.
  • Assist in the development of financial policies and procedures for the organization.
  • Provide financial insights to support hospital management in decision-making.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's running can also apply).
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong understanding of tax laws, financial reporting standards, and hospital financial practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
