Job Description

AB Pellet Feed Pvt. Ltd., a leading company in the pellet feed industry, is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee all aspects of financial management and reporting. This role will be pivotal in ensuring accurate financial statements, managing general ledger activities, overseeing cost accounting, and maintaining strong internal controls. The Senior Accountant will play a key ro.le in providing strategic financial insights and supporting the company's growth and compliance efforts

Key Responsibilities :

2. Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports, and trial balances.
  • Coordinate and assist for internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
  • Prepare and present monthly closing reports.

3. General Ledger Management:

  • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.

4. Cost Accounting:

  • Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and processes.
  • Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare cost reports for management.
  • Conduct variance analysis between standard and actual costs.
  • Prepare monthly product costing reports.

5. Inventory and Stock Management:

  • Check stock reports and ensure physical verification is conducted monthly.
  • Verify all bills are received and expenses are booked properly.

6. Accounts Reconciliation:

  • Ensure debtor and creditor ledgers are reconciled and properly followed up.
  • Prepare a monthly cash collection and cash paid report.

7. Financial Analysis and Advisory:

  • Analyze sales and purchase reports and advise directors.
  • Conduct financial analysis on cost-benefit analysis monthly of stock keeping and loans.
  • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Assist shareholders with feedback and present the status of the company.

8. Internal Controls and Compliance:

  • Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and accounting requirements.

9. Audit Support:

  • Assist internal and external auditors during the auditing process.
  • Prepare necessary documentation and provide support during audits.

10. Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities.

11. Systems and Process Improvement:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of accounting software and systems.
  • Check and verify all reports generated from the factory office and provide constant feedback for improvement.

12. Operational Understanding:

  • Understand the overall operation of the company and the roles of each employee.
  • Assist employees as needed to ensure smooth operations.

13. Collaboration with Sister Companies:

  • Work closely with sister companies to ensure financial consistency and streamline processes.
  • Share best practices and collaborate on financial strategies and initiatives.
  • Check and verify all reports generated from the factory and trading outlets and provide constant feedback for improvement.
  • Ensure sister companies are accurately tallied, following accounting rules and practices.
  • Provide strong assistance and guidance to sister companies as needed, focusing on their improvement and better operation.
