Job Description

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the day-to-day accounting operations, monthly close process, financial reporting, and compliance. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage general accounting functions, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes
Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements
Ensure compliance with applicable standards (GAAP, IFRS), rules, regulations, and systems of internal control
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Support external audits and liaise with auditors as needed
Reconcile bank statements and monitor daily cash flow
Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation calculations
Mentor and support junior accounting staff
Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives
