Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Preparing statutory annual accounts, management accounts for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, charities, trusts etc
Preparing tax computations and filing returns, including corporation tax and personal tax returns
Planning and completing assignments to a high standard of technical competence and within deadlines
Assisting the portfolio manager & partner to achieve deadlines
Regularly dealing with clients in the UK to achieve efficiency through effective communication
To undertake smaller and medium sized assignments independently or assist in larger assignments reporting to a Manager or Senior Manager
Maintaining technical competence

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 2 years

Other Specification

ACCA/ CA/ CPA/ MBA qualified/semi-qualified accountant with minimum 2 years’ experience in practice.
Good knowledge of accounting systems, tax laws and accounting standards applicable to small and medium-sized business
Good interpersonal skills
Able to work on multiple projects, in a fast-paced environment and work effectively to meet deadlines and time-scales
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients and colleagues

Desirable Requirements

Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, with excellent Excel spreadsheet skill
Experience of working with companies in UK
Experience with cloud based accounting software
