Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for a Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAN) with strong skills in auditing, accounting, taxation, and financial reporting. The candidate should have good analytical abilities, experience handling audits, tax compliance, financial statements, and project finance. Strong communication, client handling, and teamwork skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Audit & Assurance

Conduct statutory, internal, and tax audits.
Ensure compliance with NFRS and regulatory standards.
Review audit work of junior staff and finalize reports.

Accounting & Financial Reporting

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Handle bookkeeping, ledger reconciliation, and financial analysis.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and internal control improvements.

Taxation & Compliance

Manage VAT, Income Tax Return filing, and tax audits.
Liaise with tax authorities and provide tax advisory support.

Project Finance (Preferred)

Assist in project accounts, cash flow management, and vendor payments.
Coordinate with project teams, clients, and vendors.

Client Management & Team Support

Maintain good client relationships and present financial/audit findings.
Train and guide junior staff on accounting, tax, and audit processes.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAN).
Completed 3-year Articleship.
Cleared CA Final Group II.

Skills

Proficiency in SAP, Tally, Swastik, Finacle, IMS, and other accounting software.
Strong MS Excel, Word, and Outlook skills.
Good knowledge of NFRS, Nepal taxation, VAT, and labor laws.
Strong analytical, communication, and multitasking abilities.
