Position: Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAN/ICAI)

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and skilled semi-qualified Chartered Accountant who can independently handle high-level and technical tasks related to accounts, audit, tax, business consultancy, and compliances. The ideal candidate should have experience in Nepalese accounting, auditing, and taxation practices and be able to:

  • Independently handle account finalization
  • Conduct internal auditing and prepare comprehensive reports
  • Prepare balance sheets and other financial statements
  • Conduct client visits for monthly consulting
  • File VAT returns and income tax returns
  • Advise clients on various financial and compliance matters

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account finalization and balance sheet preparation
  • Internal auditing and reporting
  • Monthly client consultations
  • VAT and income tax return filing
  • Advising clients on accounting, tax, and compliance issues
  • Providing consultancy services to a variety of clients across different industries
  • Prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Timely submission of reports to clients and discussion
  • Managing and scheduling junior staff members' tasks, reviewing their works and reporting

Qualifications:

  • Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant with relevant experience
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
  • Excellent communication and client management skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
  • Two-wheeler license preferred
