Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and proactive Account Officer with a semi-qualified CA or equivalent qualification to oversee daily finance and accounting functions, ensuring compliance with Nepal's tax laws and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage VAT, Excise, Income Tax, and all relevant regulatory compliance per Nepali tax laws.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers.
  • Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and regulatory submissions.
  • Prepare financial statements and internal financial reports.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, ledgers, and payments.
  • Support internal audits and coordinate with external auditors when required.
  • Liaise with tax authorities and other regulatory bodies as needed.
  • Implement and enhance accounting systems and internal controls.
  • Assist in budgeting and cash-flow management.
  • Provide financial insights and cost analyses to aid business decisions.
