Qualification and experience:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any field. Candidate having a Master’s Degree will be preferred
  • Should be less than 55 years of age and should have served at least 15+ years in Police/ Armed Police or Army with 8+ years at officer level
  • Knowledge of legislation and other regulatory acts of the Republic of Nepal associated in related field
  • Practical experience in organizing and managing security service of large scale organization
  • Labor Code of the Republic of Nepal, regulations and norms of labor safety and protection
  • Must have good planning and coordination skills
  • Must have strong analytical & problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of targets setting and performance evaluation
  • Mush have good communication & conflict management skills

                    Job Description

                    Department: HR, Security & Administration Department

                    Section: Security 

                    Duty Station: Current requirement is in Kathmandu but can be placed anywhere in Nepal as per business needs and future requirements.

                    Purpose:

                    To establish & ensure security strategies and objectives are effectively executed and security measures & protocol are properly implemented /followed at all Ncell premises/ Network Sites across Nepal.

                    Main responsibility areas:

                    • Develop ‘Security’ processes and roadmap in alignment with the vision for the organization keeping in view short term, long term point perspectives
                    • Understand Security Scenario of the whole country particularly Ncell operation locations, and regularly direct and guide Ncell Management and employees ensuring safety and security of Ncell premises/ network sites
                    • Ensure superior planning and execution of Security measures in line with the security environment of the Ncell operation locations ensuring safety and security of Ncell premises, Ncell Centers, Warehouses, Data Centers, Vehicles & Network Sites
                    • Regularly liaise and coordinate with security vendors/partners to ensure 24/7 security support across Ncell premises and network sites
                    • Develop relations with security authorities like local Police, Armed Police Force and Army ensuring effective and timely support whenever required
                    • Develop and monitor security vendor’s performance KPI’s and provide guidance and direction to ensure effective service delivery
                    • Attend functional meetings to understand business focus areas and requirements, and give recommendations from a security point of view enabling organization to attend its planned objectives
                    • Ensure that 24 X 7 security surveillance & provide updates on security scenario of the all Ncell premises across Nepal ensuring proactive Security Services to the whole organization
                    • Represent the company while working with authorized bodies on implementing special operational investigation measures
                    • Represent Ncell by participating in various meetings, negotiations and workshops ensuring the protection of Interest of the Organization
                    • Regularly review planned performance as per planned and agreed to KPIs, and provide guidance and directions to reporting colleagues ensuring departmental objectives are met
                    • Attend Extended Management Committee meetings to understand internal customers’ requirements at a broad level and plan strategies ensuring effective service delivery
                    • Ensure that security requirements are regularly assessed by the team to devise relevant strategies for effective service delivery
                    • Closely coordinate with departments to understand security requirements enabling them to attain their planned objectives
                    • Develop appropriate Security Services capabilities to cater effectively to internal customers as per organizational requirements
                    • Regularly review performances of Team members and guide / develop them to conduct their respective jobs effectively
                    • Align Security’s infrastructural initiatives to long term and annual business plan/strategy
                    • Ensure smart spending, zero-based budgeting and revenue-focused planning in security
                    • Ensure close coordination with Supply Chain and Procurement Teams to select functionally competent vendors for effective service delivery and recommend cost-effective models
                    • Ensure vendor development and strategic sourcing techniques to finalize competent vendor
                    • Ensure close coordination, review mechanisms & develop governance framework with partners/vendors for required services
                    • Ensure fair and ethical dealings with vendors in line with Ncell Values
