Job Description

Deerwalk Services is looking for a Security Engineer to join our Security Compliance department and contribute to the organization's overall security Governance, Risk Management and Compliance (GRC).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Manager of Security and Compliance to plan for and conduct internal audits relating to security
  • Regularly audit company procedures, practices, and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risks 
  • Identify areas of improvement in the current process
  • Assist in the authoring of procedures
  • Work with security control owners to improve control processes to make them more effective and efficient 
  • Keep a track of compliance violations
  • Create / Improve training materials pertaining to Security Policies and Procedures.  • Conduct mock security tests
  • Create audit reports and recommendations 
  • Coordinate / assist in third-party / external audits
  • Handle security related tools & procedures such as Antivirus, SIEM, DLP etc. • Answer client RFP requests and security questionnaires
