Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Plan and deliver engaging and interactive science lessons that align with curriculum standards and objectives.
Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
Conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations to reinforce scientific concepts and principles.
Guide students in developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills through inquiry-based learning.
Assess student understanding through quizzes, tests, lab reports, and other assessments.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic progress.
Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate technology and resources into science instruction.
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on advancements in science education.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 3 years

Other Specification

Master's degree in Science Education, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or related field.
A minimum of 3 years of working experience as a teacher.
State teaching certification or licensure for secondary education.
Comprehensive knowledge of secondary level science curriculum and standards.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and conducting experiments.
Experience in developing hands-on, inquiry-based lessons that engage students in scientific inquiry.
Strong organizational skills and attention to safety protocols in laboratory settings.
Ability to collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to support student learning.
