Holy Vision Secondary School (HVSS) was founded in 2049 B.S. as a Primary School by the approval of the District Education Office, Kathmandu. After two years in function, the Higher Secondary Education Board granted affiliation to run + 2 wing in 2051 B.S. in Science, Management and Humanities streams. Since then it has emerged as a brand for quality education under the name of HOLY VISION SECONDARY SCHOOL (HVSS). When all the private schools were offered the choice to opt either for profit driven company or not-for-profit trust, Holy Vision Secondary School opted to function as a private trust.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated, knowledgeable, and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our secondary school faculty. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective mathematics instruction to students from grades 6 to 8, aligning with the national curriculum, and supporting students' academic growth and critical thinking abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver mathematics lessons that align with the national curriculum and school standards.
Use a variety of teaching strategies to engage students and support diverse learning styles.
Assess student performance through tests, assignments, class activities, and projects.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents regarding academic progress.
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
Participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and school events.
Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership for curriculum development and interdisciplinary teaching.
Manage classroom behavior effectively and uphold school policies and values.
