Digo Bikash Samaj (DBS) Bhajani Kailali is an umbrella organization of networks of non- governmental organizations known as Community Based organization (CBO). DBS Bhajani Kailali is a non-governmental, non - profitable, non- political organization registered in the District administration office and affiliated with the social welfare council Nepal and NGOF Kaialali. DBS has been working in the field of Livelihood, WASH and Sanitation, Disaster Risk Management/Climate change Adaptation, Good governance and Right Protection and Institutional Capacity development.

DBS has been implementing COVID-19 Emergency Response project from July 2021  in Kailali District, which is being supported by LWF Nepal. DBS will now establish a call center as a part of the project, with the objective to enhace the access of the most vulnerable populations to WHO and GON prescribed COVID-19 messages and mental health and psychosocial support. Therefore, DBS- Bhajani Kailali is seeking qualified, dynamic and motivated Nepali citizens for the following position for smooth implementation of the project.

Position: SCM & Admin Officer

Vacancy : 1

This position is responsible for execution of sourcing process until the payment process on all requisitions for goods, works and services and to ensure general purchases and supplier relationship are carried out in alignment with WVIN’s Partner Procurement Guideline and PNGO’s Procurement Policy. 

He/she will also assist in the development of high standard of accountability and transparency in procurement of goods and services.

Minimum Qualification and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business/management or other relevant field. At least two years working experience in Procurement Management/Finance/ Office Administration. Strong knowledge of Procure-to-Pay processes. 

Major Responsibility: Managing Purchasing Requisition, Executing and Solicitation of Sourcing Methods and Implement Strategic Sourcing , Contract management, general office administration and logistics management, Payment/Invoice Processing, Risk Management, Compliance and Review, Reporting and Analysis, Effective Communication skills, Strong analytical skills, Proven experience as a team player, Strong knowledge of Procure-to-Pay processes.
