Roles and responsibilities of this job

Job Summary:

The school principal is responsible for providing leadership and management of all educational activities of the school to ensure a high quality of education. The individual in this position will be responsible for managing the resources including teaching and support staffs to provide the finest learning environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Handle overall educational activities of the school
Supervise all teaching as well as support staffs
Coordinate and communicate with school management committee teachers, parents and local bodies
Liaison with government and local bodies
Prepare reports of school activities and maintain all required records
Undertake teaching responsibilities when required

Working Conditions:

Mostly indoors in a standard office setting within the school as well as a classroom setting

Work hours: 48 hours per week

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 8 years

Other Specification

Master’s Degree in Education
At least 8 years of experience as a full-time teacher
Preference will be given to candidates with at least 5 years of experience as a Principal and/or Vice – Principal
Demonstrated competence in leadership ability and management
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse group of people
Excellent organizational skills and report writing skills
Teaching License
