Roles and responsibilities of this job

United School, located at Imadol, Lalitpur is currently seeking an experienced School Nurse to join our team. The School Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive health care services to students and staff in accordance with the state and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Administering basic first aid and emergency care to students and staff as needed.
Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records of students and staff according to school policies.
Collaborating with parents, teachers and administrators to develop and implement individual health care plans for students with special health care needs.
Monitoring medication administration and ensuring that students receive prescribed medications on time.
Conducting health screenings, immunizations, and maintaining health records in compliance with state and local regulations.
Educating students and staff on health and safety issues.
Providing health education and counseling to students, parents, and staff.
Maintaining a clean and safe environment in the school infirmary.
Providing appropriate referrals to community health resources when necessary.
Assisting with health-related school policies and procedures.

Other Specification

PCL/ HA/ ANM with minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Valid license and certificate.
Proficient in computer skills and electronic medical record keeping.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards students and staff.
Knowledge of state and local regulations related to school health services.
