Job Description

Evaluate students who complain of specific ailments
Call parents to suggest they pick up students who might be uncomfortable or who might have developed a contagious illness
Educate students on hand washing, germs and other health care and safety issues
Examine and authenticate vaccination records
Monitor and dispense prescription medications based on instructions from parents and GPs
Contact parents and teachers with any medical emergency
Develop and manage school health and wellness programme
Maintain files on each student’s health and medical history
