Valid license to ride Motorcycles and Car. If the applicant does not currently have a license for Car then he/she shall obtain such license within one year of appointment.

Candidates with academic background in Electrical Engineering should understand the electrical equipment, electromechanical equipment and electrical control systems, and knowledge about related International Standards. Should be able to review and analyze electrical drawings
Candidates with academic background in Mechanical Engineering should understand the Mechanical equipment, Hydromechanical equipment, Electromechanical equipment and hydraulic control systems including knowledge about related International Standards. Should be able to review and analyze mechanical and hydraulic drawings
Should be skilled in computer usage, Windows, MS office and AutoCAD
Preference will be given for knowledge about Operation and Maintenance of Hydropower plant
Can Maintain good relations with NEA, Local Agencies

Job Description

The role of the Junior O&M (Operations and Maintenance) Engineer can be generally described as “to perform all the operation and maintenance work related to the project structures, facilities and equipment as per the standard procedures and guidelines”. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the Junior O&M Engineer shall do the below listed.
Undergo on-the-job training on all aspects of plant Operation and Maintenance as defined by the Plant Management. The training shall be completed before end of the probation period. Operate the plant under supervision of Operations Manager
Maintain the plant under supervision of Maintenance Manager Document all the maintenance and operational works
Routinely monitor all project equipment including at the powerhouse, headworks, camp, etc.
Carry out day to day corrective and preventive maintenance of various equipment of the plant and various facilities
Supervise Technical support staffs in various works Responsible for safety of employees during work
Work with Computerized Maintenance Management System
Operate and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment and tools Assist in scheduling Annual Maintenance work
Responsible for ensuring that the project facilities and workplace are clean and orderly.
Develop colleagues and support staffs
