We are seeking energetic, customer-oriented, and target-driven Outbound Sales Officer to join our travel and tourism team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business, promoting travel services, building long-term client relationships, and achieving sales targets. Candidates with a passion for travel, excellent communication skills, and a strong sales mindset are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Generate new customers through phone calls, client visits, referrals, networking, and social media.
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Promote and sell domestic and international tour packages.
Sell flight tickets, hotel reservations, visa assistance, travel insurance, and other travel-related services.
Prepare quotations, itineraries, and customized travel proposals.
Follow up with inquiries and convert leads into confirmed bookings.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with individual and corporate clients.
Handle corporate accounts, educational institutions, and group travel bookings.
Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth service delivery.
Negotiate with clients while maintaining company profitability.
Maintain accurate records of leads, bookings, and customer information using CRM systems.
Collect customer feedback and resolve complaints professionally.
Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and potential partnerships.
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and promotional activities.
Participate in travel fairs, exhibitions, and marketing events.
Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional campaigns.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
Follow up on payments and ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.
Stay updated on travel destinations, airline services, hotels, and tourism products.
Cross-sell and upsell travel-related services to maximize revenue.
Follow company policies, pricing guidelines, and ethical sales practices.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Tourism Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
Diploma in Travel & Tourism will be an added advantage.
Minimum 1-2 year of experience in sales, travel, tourism, or customer service. Experience in a travel agency or tour operator is preferred.
Good knowledge of domestic and international tour packages, airline ticketing, hotel reservations, visa processing, and travel insurance.
Basic knowledge of GDS systems (Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre) is an advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Excellent communication skills in Nepali and English (spoken and written).
Strong sales, negotiation, presentation, and customer relationship management skills.
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and consistently achieve sales targets.
Positive attitude, self-motivated, and result-oriented.
Professional appearance with strong interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel for client meetings, business development, and promotional events.
Valid driving license is preferred.
Ability to work on weekends or public holidays when required.
Strong knowledge of Nepal's tourism destinations and major international travel destinations.
