  • Leadership abilities and good communication skills (since this position would entail lot of co-ordination with various units under company’s management)

Job Description

  • Developing sales and marketing strategy in line with company objectives and managing and implementing all sales and marketing activities of the Company
  • Contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews for improving sales and making profitable use of space, facilities, expertise and current market networks of promoters
  • Overseeing company’s marketing budget
  • Assisting in business development by researching market opportunities and anticipating new opportunities through identification of consumer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share
  • Accomplishing marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and hosting promotional events and programs and developing sales action plans
  • Creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans
  • Coordinating marketing events with sales activities
  • Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity
  • Developing appealing website with information on group restaurants, facilities, events etc; responsible for online and print marketing campaigns; overall responsible for increasing LS web presence through social media for greater engagement with customers and maximizing awareness about group restaurants; and in this connection work closely with various media and design agencies
  • Developing customer loyalty programs (individual & corporate guests) to build a stable revenue base and ensure high levels of repeat business; build strong customer relationships
  • Keeping track of feedback from customers (both negative & positive)
  • Assisting in menu designing and promotional pricing
  • Helping employees understand the marketing strategy and objectives through effective internal communication with all employees via internal website, company newsletter etc
  • Monitoring and reporting to the Board on effectiveness of marketing communications on sales and business performance
  • Forecasting and taking risk management measures like promoting existing facilities, running events & offering incentives when sales is low
  • Protecting organization's value by keeping information confidential
  • Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
  • All other work in connection with overall planning and implementation of sales and marketing functions of the company and its managed restaurant units
