Job Description

Hours: Full-time – 48 hours /week 

Reports to: Sales & Marketing VP

Job Summary:

Sales & Marketing Director is responsible for all activities related to conceptualizing, planning, managing and implementing market goals, strategies, tactics and measurements to achieve marketing targets of Tiger Palace. Specific responsibilities include business and market development; market research and planning; strategic direction for and supervision of promotions, advertising and sales; and hiring and directing the day to day activities of marketing staff. Also includes producing and presenting regular reports to management on achievement of measurable goals in the Marketing plan.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

Planning and Strategy Development with Database Maintenance 

  • Serves as the Sales & Marketing Director for Tiger Palace, providing direction in the area of market planning, strategy development, and management
  • Executes and monitors strategic plans, both short and long range, to achieve Casino objectives regarding revenue, profitability, new customer acquisition and customer retention, and increasing brand awareness; by using market research and analysis, tracking industry trends and employing a full array of activities to achieve measurable objectives
  • Statistically analyze marketing programs and adjusts strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness to meet changing market and competitive conditions
  • Develop and manage the annual budget according to an approved annual marketing plan; oversee expenses to maintain acceptable margins; review budget reports monthly and revise as necessary. And also creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly and annual reports
  • Supervise research, evaluation, negotiation, scheduling, and contracts for media space, time, location, and promotional packages; measure results, analyze, and modify accordingly
  • Maximize use of players’ club membership list to increase play, length of stay, and visits of targeted members; develop communications plan and identify tiers; coordinate direct mail and email program including monthly newsletter, birthday cards, etc.; provide tickets, VIP passes, and special offers to both casino on-site and off-site events and entertainment; develop ideas and coordinate special events for VIPs; measure results of all activities and evaluate; research and modify accordingly

Events and Promotion Development

  • Develop creative strategies as needed, supervise production of print ads, broadcast spots, collateral materials, promotional merchandise, signage (on-site and off), website, internet communications, and billboards; oversee logo usage; contract with and supervise activities of ad agency and/or production houses
  • Supervise staff that will identify entertainment and special events that target our market to achieve strategic goals; monitor promotion, production, and post-event activities; collect necessary data to evaluate success, make changes as necessary to maximize revenues and profitability
  • Ensure that marketing inventory and promotional materials are acquired and maintained in an organized and efficient manner
  • Provides post-event reports, analysis, and regular status reports on marketing programs to management team
  • Taking Decision in regards to celebrity finalization or any event finalization

Guest Relation Management

  • Responsible for marketing to predetermine active and inactive Guests by mail and phone to further develop brand loyalty and visitation to the casino and reports results of each
  • Assists in the development of incentive programs, host goals, special events and marketing programs
  • Supervise casino hosts, including scheduling, ensuring that departmental policies and procedures are being adhered to and that effective appraisals of job functions are being completed
  • Maintains and updates customer database continually ensuring the highest level of data integrity, including measurement systems; maintains confidentiality of database and files

Sales Boosting

  • Deciding and implementing the Sales Package along with related benefits and offering to players and agent with required calculation of House Edge
  • Handling of different agents and VIP Players from the time of initiation and the retention.
  • Package settlements of VIP guests and Agents
  • Dispute settlements with the Agents/Players during the time of their gaming period or during settlement.
  • Developing of different offer to different category of guest to achieve the required target as well as guest retention with special offering
