Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our distribution efforts of recycled soap in Nepal via Retail and NGO Partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building our network of salespeople, and fostering relationships with our key distribution partners.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive, multi-channel route-to-market strategy aligned with Eco-Soap Bank's mission and objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and competition to identify opportunities for growth
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand Eco-Soap Bank's presence in the market.
  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Develop entry-level staff into valuable salespeople 
  • Proven working experience as a business development officer, sales executive or a relevant role sales track record

Stakeholder Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local NGOs/CBOs, distributors and retailers
  • Manage the externally-facing operational sales process from order receipt through to payment, ensuring seamless customer service and financial compliance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between sales and other departments

Reporting and Analysis

  • Implement reporting mechanisms to track and analyze sales performance by channel
  • Build a database of market activity to ensure we remain relevant to end users
  • Provide regular updates and insights to senior management.

Knowledge ,Skills and Experience Required:

  • BSc/BA in business administration 5 years experience in sales / relevant field
  • Selling Fundamentals
  • Managing Customer Service Operations
  • Sales Strategy and Planning
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Knowledge of how to set pricing structure from cost through to recommended retail pricing
  • Understanding of the Accounts Receivable process and how to ensure customer compliance
  • Proven track record of success in sales management, preferably in the consumer goods or hygiene industry.
  • Understanding of the social impact sector and a passion for sustainable and humanitarian initiatives
  • Ability to ride Two-wheelers with a valid License (Preferably Category A)

Salary and Benefits:

  • 65 to 70k depending on experience.
  • Festival Bonus
  • Health and Accidental Insurance coverage 
  • Probation Period: Three months, paid opportunity for growth after three months
