Shanker group was founded in the year 1979 by Mr. Shanker Lal Agrawal with integration of diversified operating companies, which had grown over the years since the initial foray in to business by Mr. Rawat Mal Agarwal in Rangoon, Burma in 1930 and the beginning in Nepal in the year 1960 with the setup of company manufacturing buttons.

Job Description

Division: 2 Wheelers TVS 

Key Thrust Areas/Job Responsibilities:

  • Sell products (TVS bikes and scooter) by establishing contact and develop the relation with the customers
  • Deal with the walk in customers and entertain to customers in phone regarding products
  • Prepare and Maintain the reports about sales inquiry activities of respective showroom
  • Proper follow up the showroom inquiries and external activities enquiry and concerns by phone or in person
  • Daily enquiry and sales need to be entered in the DMS Software and also raise a bill from the DMS
  • Negotiate with clients about the discount to given within the given range and get the approval discount from the supervisors
  • Daily report to be send to his/her supervisor. Report can be showroom enquiries, sales details, External activities enquiry, and customers’ profile
  • Prepares the report by collecting, analyzing and summarizing the enquiries and sales of the respective showroom
  • Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements
  • At the time of supervisors absence, He/She should take lead for any financial expenses in the  showroom within the budget by proper allocation of financial resources and negotiate with the vendor before purchase or repair and  maintenance for showroom property with the approval of sales manager
  • Maintain enough Stock availability in the respective showroom, by monitoring the inventories available there and updating the immediate supervisor
  • Keep the record of purchase and sales register details
  • Regular follow up the payment of corporate clients, finance and exchange houses

Key Tasks & Activities:

  • Achievement of given sales target
  • Make an effort to convert every walk in enquiry into sales
  • Facilitate assigned customer’s buying process from the beginning till the delivery
  • Follow up sales enquiries 
  • Follow up and collect due amount of customers, if any. Report supervisor on outstanding, sales and activities
  • Remain updated on TVS and competitors product
