Position: Sales Executive

Position Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in government offices and ministries.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all government-related inquiries and needs.

2. Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within government entities.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Leverage existing connections to secure meetings and contracts with government stakeholders.

3. Solution Selling:

  • Understand the unique communication and connectivity needs of government offices.
  • Present tailored telecom solutions that align with government requirements and compliance standards.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies relevant to the public sector.

4. Government Procurement Expertise:

  • Navigate complex government procurement processes, including tenders, RFPs, and RFQs.
  • Prepare and submit compelling proposals and bids in compliance with government regulations.

5. Communication and Presentation:

  • Deliver clear and persuasive presentations to government officials and decision-makers.
  • Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills in all interactions.

6. Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with internal teams (legal, technical, finance) to ensure compliance with government regulations and seamless service delivery.
  • Provide feedback to the product team to enhance offerings based on government needs.

7. Reporting and Performance Tracking:

  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline progress in the CRM system.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, client status, and market trends.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus.
  • Proven track record of selling to government entities and managing government accounts.
  • Experience in navigating government procurement processes and compliance requirements.

Profile:

  • Strong network and connections within government offices and ministries.
  • Exceptional negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills.
  • Ability to analyze client needs and propose tailored solutions.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend government-related events.
  • Reviews situations or problems related to the work and presents all perspectives clearly for analysis.
  • Reviews and recommends new solutions or techniques to improve work output
  • Try to review links beyond own work area.
  • Seeking to learn more about other parts of the unit, or function.
  • Proactively seeks out customers' input to obtain feedback on performance.
  • Effectively communicates with others to obtain needed information or support.
  • Adapt rules or recommend alterations in normal procedures to get a job done well.
  • Understands personal strengths & weaknesses and works on constructive feedback to improve one's work performance.

Duty Station:
Kathmandu but can be placed anywhere in Nepal as per business needs.
