Wongchhu Peak Promotion is one of the leading government recognized trekking and mountaineering agencies in Nepal. Wongchhu Sherpa was a record-setting, world renowned innovator and creator in the guiding world. He worked with esteemed climbers such as David Breshears, Ed Viesturs, Peter Athens, Liesl Clark, Goran Kropp, Renata Chlumska, Peter Hillary, Jamling Tenzing Norgay, Jenny Dublin, Sean Swarmer, Tom McMillan and many more throughout the years. In 2003, Wongchu Sherpa stepped up to assist Dr. Luanne Freer in the founding and development of Everest ER, the medical clinic at Mount Everest Base Camp.

Wongchhu Peak Promotion continues to support Everest ER at Base Camp.
