Himalayan Outdoor Gears is looking for a Sales Assistant to provide excellent customer service, assist in sales, and maintain store operations. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, product knowledge, and a passion for outdoor gear and adventure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in selecting outdoor gear and provide product recommendations based on their needs.
  • Maintain a welcoming and organized store environment.
  • Handle sales transactions, process payments, and manage invoices.
  • Keep track of stock levels and coordinate with the inventory team for restocking.
  • Provide detailed information on product features, benefits, and usage.
  • Assist in promotional activities and marketing efforts, including social media promotions.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
  • Ensure proper display and arrangement of products in the store.
  • Support in meeting sales targets and reporting daily sales figures.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in retail or sales is preferred.
  • Good command in English language and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to operate a desktop computer for basic tasks such as billing, inventory updates, and email communication.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) for product promotions.
  • Passion for outdoor activities and adventure gear is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management and POS systems.
  • Friendly, customer-oriented attitude.
