Job Description

Department: Sales & Marketing
Location: Corporate Office / Field (as per assigned territory)
Reporting To: Sales & Marketing Manager / Business Development Head

Job Purpose

To drive sales growth of commercial broilers, eggs, processed meat, and animal feed by building strong market relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, achieving sales targets, and supporting brand development through effective marketing and distribution strategies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and implement sales plans for PS DOC, Vet Medicines, broiler birds, table eggs, dressed meat, and poultry feed, etc.
  • Identify and approach potential customers (distributors, wholesalers, hotels, bakeries, schools, retailers, farmers).
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets in line with company objectives.
  • Negotiate pricing, credit terms (as per policy), and contracts with key clients.
  • Monitor competitor activities, market prices, and demand fluctuations.

2. Customer Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and ensure repeat business.
  • Resolve customer complaints and provide after-sales support.
  • Collect customer feedback on product quality, supply, and service.
  • Expand customer base through field visits, trade shows, and referrals.

3. Marketing & Brand Promotion

  • Execute marketing campaigns for poultry products and feed.
  • Promote the company’s brand image in target markets.
  • Assist in preparing promotional materials, brochures, and digital marketing content.
  • Organize product awareness programs, farmer meetings, and exhibitions.

4. Market Research & Reporting

  • Track market demand trends for chicken meat, eggs, and feed.
  • Collect intelligence on competitor pricing, distribution, and promotions.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales performance reports.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to management for market expansion.

5. Distribution & Logistics Support

  • Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for timely delivery of products.
  • Monitor delivery efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure cold-chain management for meat products.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, dispatches, and pending orders.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Achievement of sales targets (volume & value).
  • Growth in customer base and retention rate.
  • Market share improvement vs. competitors.
  • Timely collection of receivables (as per company policy).
  • Successful execution of marketing campaigns.
