Job Description

Objective of the Job: 

  • Market analysis. Preparation and implementation of Strategy to increase Sales

Job Relationship:

  • Accountable for: Sales and Marketing Department
  • Reporting to:  General Manager
  • Coordination with Internal: Finance/Account, Sales, Purchase and Admin Dept
  • Coordination with external: Dealers, Media, Marketing Agencies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Specific Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis for all brands associated with API. Research and analyzing market trends and competitors
  • Working with the executive team to set the marketing strategy and programs with measurable objectives, strategy and action steps for all brands associated with API
  • Implementation of marketing strategy in close coordination with executive team
  • Overseeing marketing campaigns
  • Tracking effectiveness of marketing campaigns and reporting findings to the executive team
  • Spend a substantial time in the field to build insights, track progress and coach the team
  • Help Build Comprehensive Performance Metrics and monitor the same to track progress and growth
  • Looking after the budget of the marketing department and making sure the budget spend is delivering a return on investment
  • Hiring and managing the performance of a junior marketing team. Coach and build leadership in direct subordinates – manage capability building across the team
  • Manage all aspects of production, receipt and distribution of marketing materials. Negotiating and liaising with third-party marketing agencies. Initiate dialogue and negotiation with different advertisement houses
  • Writing and delivering content and social media plans and its implementation
  • Managing the design and production of promotional materials, such as websites and brochures
  • Corporate Branding in close coordination in executive team.

General Responsibilities:

  • To challenge the effectiveness of established procedures and identify outdated practices and developing continual improvement processes for the organization
  • Responsible for efficient Team development and mobilization and coordination by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, coaching, counseling and disciplining employees
  • Responsible to update JD of team members in close coordination with HR Team leader
  • Responsible for preparation and implementation of policies related to the function and enforcing systems, policies and procedure in close coordination with Top Management
  • Create, document and communicate required SOP
  • Responsible to create Department Management file which contains SOP / Department Policy / Reports Log Book
