Ashok Steel Industries is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sales Analyst to support sales strategy, performance tracking, and business decision-making. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing sales data, preparing reports, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to improve revenue growth and market performance.

This role plays a key part in aligning sales operations with business objectives by delivering accurate data analysis and performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales data to identify trends and performance gaps
Prepare sales reports, dashboards, and MIS reports for management review
Monitor product-wise, region-wise, and channel-wise sales performance
Support sales forecasting and demand planning activities
Identify new sales opportunities through market and data analysis
Track competitor performance and market trends
Assist sales and marketing teams with data-driven insights
Maintain and update sales databases and CRM systems
Evaluate sales targets vs actual performance and highlight deviations
Support management in pricing, promotion, and strategy decisions

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or related field

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level preferred)
Experience with reporting tools or dashboards is an advantage
Strong understanding of sales processes and business operations
