Job Description

The Sales Administrator supports the sales team in delivering high-quality IT solutions by managing administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations in the sales process, and maintaining excellent customer relationships. The role requires knowledge of IT products and services, such as hardware, software, networking, and IT infrastructure, while coordinating with vendors and internal teams for timely delivery of solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Support:

  • Prepare and process quotations, sales orders, and proposals for IT products and services.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to manage client accounts and follow up on leads.
  • Ensure compliance with IT service agreements, warranties, and licensing requirements.

Vendor and Supplier Coordination:

  • Communicate with IT manufacturers and distributors to obtain product details, pricing, and availability.
  • Manage purchase orders and track delivery schedules for IT products.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and installation of IT equipment.

Customer Interaction:

  • Handle customer inquiries related to IT solutions, warranties, and support services.
  • Provide after-sales support by coordinating technical teams for troubleshooting or installation services.
  • Address customer complaints and escalate technical issues as needed.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, contracts, and licensing details in CRM and ERP systems.
  • Prepare sales and performance reports to share with the management team.
  • Manage inventory records for IT hardware and software licenses.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with technical teams to understand client requirements and provide customized solutions.
  • Schedule and coordinate sales team meetings, client presentations, and training sessions.
  • Support the finance team by verifying invoices and ensuring payment processing.

Market and Product Awareness:

  • Stay updated on IT industry trends, new technologies, and competitor offerings.
  • Assist in the preparation of marketing materials and presentations for IT solutions.
